An eminent Behavioural Scientist, specialized in Clinical and Neuro Psychology, Dr. Saranya has carved a niche in the Indian academic landscape with a body of work that is as impactful as it is inspiring.
Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology at CMR University, she combines academic rigor with real-world relevance. Her career includes over 100 published research articles, 15 national and international patents, and 30 books authored in the field of behavioural science.
One of her standout contributions is the development of a psychological scale for assessing Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in marriage, a novel diagnostic tool reflecting the changing dynamics of modern relationships.
